Weapons: Konan's body is one weapon, she can avert herself in to origami paper strips, standard kunai and senbon needles.



Advantages: Her attacks are administered from high up giving her plenty of elevation and even the element of surprise. Her other attacks as this point are unknown but hinted to her having more up her sleeve.

Disadvantages: Water based attacks, rain, fire.

History/Short Bio:

Konan (小南, Konan?) is the partner of the Akatsuki leader, Pain, and the only female ninja in Akatsuki. She was orphaned as a child by one of Amegakure's many wars, forcing her to fend for herself until being found by Jiraiya. Jiraiya trained Konan to take advantage of her natural talent with origami, and as a result paper is a key component in her battle style. Konan can divide her body into countless numbers of paper sheets, which she controls and reshapes remotely to scout out an area or form weapons for attack. She can even form wings that mirror her title as "God's Angel" amongst the villagers of Amegakure, as she often carries out Pain's (who has the title of "God") will. Her abilities are constrained while wet, as paper clings to itself and loses its stiffness.

Weapons: Has a mouth on the palm of each hand, uses clay as bombs.

Advantages: Can use clay birds to reach high levels of flight, also uses clay ass landmines.

Disadvantages: Electrical techniques.

History/Short Bio:

Deidara (デイダラ) is a former ninja of Iwagakure. He acted as a terrorist bomber for hire before being forced to join Akatsuki by Itachi Uchiha. Though he came to embrace the organization, Deidara holds a grudge against Itachi and all Uchiha throughout the series, as he feels they look down on his abilities. Upon joining Akatsuki he is partnered with Sasori, who Deidara treats as his master due to his artistic expertise. Sasori is replaced by Tobi after his death, and Deidara assumes the master-position as Sasori had before him. By consuming clay with mouths in his hands, Deidara is able to create his own form of art: sculptures that explode with varying intensities. When he speaks, he near-constantly ends his sentences with an audible "hmm?", although it has also been translated as "yeah" and other similar syllables. Deidara's creations can take any form he so chooses, and from the time of their creation to their detonation he can bring them to life and control them remotely. He is very confident in his art's ability, such that he believes it cannot be defeated. When Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi's younger brother, is able to systematically nullify and gain the advantage over his art, Deidara transforms himself into a living bomb in an effort to kill Sasuke and prove his art is supreme.

Name: Yamato (Tenzou)

Weapons: Standard Kunai and other Shinobi weaponry, as well as those of the ANBU, and also possesses The Shodai Hokage's Mokuton.

Advantages: Skilled in Intelligence and infiltry.

Disadvantages: A short temper when provoked, other's remain unknown.

Short History/Current Bio: Yamato, whose real name is Tenzou, was an elite ANBU recommended by Kakashi himself for the mission. Yamato would leave behind his ANBU mask and gear and wear his flak jacket. Yamato wears a forehead protector similar in style to Nidaime Hokage. A further connection to the brothers Shodai and Nidaime Hokage was seen when he used a Mokuton (Tree Release) technique to threaten his team to calm down and stop their infighting.

Yamato is connected to the legacy of Shodai because he carries his genes within him. When Orochimaru was still a respected ninja within Konoha, he carried out experimental gene therapy on 60 village children. Orochimaru sought to gain Shodai's Mokuton and Bijuu controlling powers for his own. To that end he obtained genetic material and spliced it into 60 children. Orochimaru soon left and never saw the fruit of his labors. All but one of the children died. Yamato managed to survive and grow into a powerful ninja.

Yamato would get his chance to meet his "maker" on the bridge in the Grass Country. When Kabuto appeared alongside Orochimaru in the hopes of killing Sasori, Yamato and his team were given the opportunity to take out Orochimaru for good. When Naruto began to rampage in his tailed Kyuubi form, Yamato used another Shodai ability in controlling the bijuu. He was able to calm Naruto's wild mind and return him to normal. His group then pursued Orochimaru thanks to a tracking seed placed in Sai. Though they successfully infiltrated Orochimaru's compound and found Sasuke, the meeting did not last long. Before Yamato had a chance to get serious, the Sound ninja fled.

Yamato and his team returned to Konoha. They were given a new mission by Tsunade and further built their team dynamics. After the mission, Yamato would assist Kakashi in Naruto's new training regimen. By managing Naruto's Kyuubi powers, Naruto was able to use Tajuu Kage Bunshin and greatly reduce his training time. And with Yamato's Earth, Water and Wood elemental styles, he was able to further teach Naruto how to develop his own unique elemental jutsu.

Now, during the slow fall of Konoha, Yamato has been placed at the top of one of the many teams of ANBU to try and prevent this progressing downfall. Training not only his body and mind, but also that of other's in his team. He and his team head most of the infiltry and information gathering missions, his Mokuton comes in handy during these missions over them all, and he's not at all above asking for assistance from other clans with Kekkei Genkei that would be on Valuable service in the field.

Name: Maito Gai

Weapons: Standard Shinobi equipment as well as his body itself!

Advantages: A master at Taijutsu, the ability to open Six of the Eight Inner Gates.

Disadvantages: Over enthusiastic, when releasing the inner gates becomes fatigued very easily.

Short History/Current Bio: Maito Gai is the Jounin sensei of Hyuuga Neji, TenTen and Rock Lee. He is also an old friend and rival of Hatake Kakashi. Guy is one of the most distinguished characters in Naruto, known for his bowl-cut hairdo, prominent eyebrows and his strikingly over-the-top personality which leaves others around him speechless. He refers to himself and Kakashi as "eternal rivals", despite Kakashi’s aloofness to the matter. Often, he will begin a grand speech to Kakashi, who will simply be looking at or listening to something else, causing Guy to become infuriated by Kakashi’s "hip" ignorance.

Gai the subject of much comedy, firstly being impersonated by a pair of amateur ninjas disguised as him and Lee, attempting to also disguise himself with a handlebar moustache and afro wig to enter a dojo Lee had built for martial arts challenges, while also receiving a challenge of his own from someone seeking revenge for a man he defeated a long time ago.

Gai is, at heart, a comedy character. He is goofy, excessive and an even more exaggerated version of Lee. The two are a perfect comedy duo, with Gai making an overly enthusiastic statement and Lee taking it literally. Gai also has a ridiculous habit of setting himself unreasonable tasks as self-punishment, but claims the method to his madness is more like self-discipline, which strengthens him. His other major partner is Kakashi, who he holds a mostly one-sided rivalry with, even going as far as to keep a win-loss record of challenges he sets Kakashi, who often comes across as the straight man of the duo, ignoring his most outrageous speeches. Despite his comedy, Gai is among the elite, astoundingly powerful and fast with experience to back him up, even if his battles end up amusing the fans more than amazing them.

Now, in these times of peril, Gai still prospers as a Shinobi Sensei, passing on his knowledge to the "Vibrant youth of Konoha!", but he offers his services to the Leaf Village when needed, his Taijutsu abilities come in handily when facing certain difficulties, a nd he still holds Kakashi to be his greatest rival, still competing against the man even in his later years. His only hope is to be of some great use to Konoha in it's ever drawing doom, hoping to be a part of the final act that saves Konoha!

Name: Sasori
Current Age: unknown
Alliance: Akatsuki
Rank: S Class criminal
Occupation: Whatever Akatsuki see's fit to ask of him.
Weapons: Puppetmaster. His prized puppet however, is sandaime Kazekage, Also, A slightly modified poison. Aswell as the various traps and mechanisms of his puppets. and the jutsu of his human puppets.
Advantages: Proficient with more than 100 puppets at once, Use of Human puppets- effectively gaining control of their jutsu. (This includes the 3rd kazekage's kekeigenkai- Iron sand jutsu) Sasori IS a human puppet, so essentially he's immortal with the exception being his heart. But thats got more safeguards around it now that it did before. Sasori has refined the poison that sakura managed to create an antidote for. Now it is a bit quicker than the antidote, and has an anti-immunization feature that shuts down the immune system before it has a chance to react essentially turning one into a living corpse---and theeeeen killing them slowly from the inside out.
Disadvantages: the human heart that still beats within him. If you can manage to get to it. Sasori's in some real trouble.

Short History/Current Bio: Sasori is a former ninja of Sunagakure. His parents died when he was young, leaving him in the care of his grandmother, Chiyo. Lacking the love of parents, Sasori left Sunagakure when he got older and joined Akatsuki where he is initially partnered with Orochimaru. After Orochimaru's defection Sasori teamed with Deidara, who looks to him and his artistic knowledge with reverence. Before leaving Sunagakure, Sasori was taught the art of puppetry by his grandmother, which he refined to fit his needs over the years. He eventually devised a way to convert the corpses of humans into puppets, allowing him to use any of the ninja abilities they possessed during their life for himself. In time he even converted his own body into a puppet, which gives him eternal life and allows him to control hundreds of puppets at once. Each weapon in his puppets' extended arsenal is laced with a poison of Sasori's design that causes extreme pain to the inflicted until they die. He was defeated by a medic kunoichi named sakura haruno and his own grandmother. They managed to stab his heart, the only remaining human organ he carried. As a result he had died, however he awoke to find his heart had been transplanted into another of his puppets by Pein, The leader of Akatsuki. It would seem that there was still some use for the puppetmaster. Not that he was complaining

Name: Temari

Occupation: Liason between Sunagakure and Konohagakure

Weapons: A large metal fan capable of controlling wind around her, as well as standard shinobi weapons.

Advantages: She is confidently strong and maturely poised. A true beauty out in the battle field. She has a nitch for far ranged attacks, and was one of the few genin that could perform a summon. Believe it or not, she does have a caring side. She is also not afraid to speak her mind.

Disadvantages: Close ranged attacks. She tends to be a bit cocky and crude. She also has a respectful fear of her younger brother, Gaara.

Short History/Current Bio: Temari is the eldest of the late fourth Kazekage of the Sand's children, followed by her brothers Kankuro and Gaara. She has a deep resentment toward any type of war, and she expressed this when she argued with Baki's instructions to raid Konoha during an undercover A-Rank mission. However even though she dislikes it, she still has a very good offense when she needs to fight. In her early Genin days, Temari was assigned to fight Tenten during the Chunin Exams. The match ended up being a breeze (no pun intended, ha) for the young female shinobi. During the final rounds, she was pitted against Shikamaru. While both had a tendency to think ahead in battle, due to the shadow shinobi's laziness the battle goes to her as a result of his forfeit and overuse of chakra.

Two years after the leaf and the sand village's attempts to find the infamous Sasuke-kun, Temari returns as a liason between the two areas and helps with preparations for the next Chunin Exams. When both her brothers were attacked and Gaara was kidnapped by the Akatsuki she rushed to help Konoha's team seven on the rescue mission. However, Chiyo took her place and she was told to watch over her brother Kankuro who had been poisioned. Luckily Gaara was retrieved and revived, an act in which Temari and Kankuro thanked Team Seven for saving their youngest brother and Kazegage.

Name: Rock Lee

Advantages: Unbreakable will, blinding speed, and a quick smile.

Disadvantages: Not being able to use ninjutsu or genjutsu.

Short History/Current Bio: Rock Lee was considered quite an oddity. Though some may call him a "failure" for not being able to use Genjutsu or Ninjutsu, Lee was anything but. He was unique, and worked hard with what little talent he was blessed with. There are two kinds of talent, you know. That you are born with, and that you achieve with hard work. And Lee was the certified genius of hard work.

Konoha's Handsome Green Devil would sometimes train days on end without a wink of sleep, working to perfect his form, working to become an excellent ninja. His only goal in life was to prove that someone who was unable to use Genjutsu and Ninjutsu could truly become a splendid ninja. Lee was a splendid ninja indeed, devoting his life to becoming the best Taijutsu user on the block.

Lee's speed was unmatched, especially when he removed his special training weights that lay hidden under his orange leg warmers. He moved like a veritable flash of lightning, almost undetectable by the naked eye, so fast he could land a punch on even the most skilled enemy, avoiding even a perfect means of defense.

Lee's body was powerful, his hands covered in numerous bruises, cuts, scars, and scrapes, and his heart was strong. Perhaps stronger than any other ninja's in Konoha. He would do anything to achieve his dreams, and by any means become a splendid ninja.

Disadvantages: Anger gets the best of him, clouds his judgement, guilt over the loss of his brother.

Short History/Current Bio: Sasuke's early childhood, as told over the course of Naruto manga volume twenty-five, was spent living in the shadow of his older brother, Itachi Uchiha. As a natural prodigy of the Uchiha clan, Itachi was the pride of their family. In an effort to win some recognition for himself, Sasuke trained diligently to win some of his parents' attention, though he was never able to surpass the milestones set in place by his brother. As the years went by only Itachi would acknowledge Sasuke's accomplishments and treat him as part of the family, filling the role of a loving older brother. In time, Itachi began to distance himself from the clan and fell out of his family's confidence. Because of this, the Uchiha began to look to Sasuke as the new future for the clan, and he finally began to receive the attention he had craved.

Soon after Sasuke started to be accepted into his family, he returned home one day find the streets littered with the corpses of the Uchiha clan. Upon rushing home to alert his parents to the tragedy, Sasuke found Itachi standing over their bodies. His responsibility for the murders clear, Itachi explained that he had killed their family only to test his abilities. As Sasuke tried to flee, Itachi went on to explain that he had never loved his little brother. Claiming that Sasuke was not worth killing, Itachi encouraged him to get stronger by living a life of hate and anger towards him, with his sole purpose being to avenge the clan. Itachi left, and in the absence of a loving family Sasuke agreed to do as instructed, dedicating his life to killing Itachi. Years later, in Part II of the series, Sasuke is shown to have some doubts out about the events of that night. It is not until after Itachi's death that he learns the truth surrounding the massacre of the Uchiha: that it was all done for Sasuke's good.

When first introduced during his assignment to Team 7, Sasuke displays a great indifference to his teammates. Feeling that his abilities are far superior to their own, he is unwilling to cooperate with Naruto Uzumaki or Sakura Haruno, as doing so would do nothing to help him kill Itachi. These perceptions are quickly proven wrong, for despite their failings, Sakura is an excellent source of information and competition with Naruto acts as an effective way to get stronger. While he retains a confidence in himself throughout the series, Sasuke increasingly relies on his friends over the course of Part I. As he starts to get close to others he also begins to risk his own life to save them, even though his death would leave him unable to gain vengeance on Itachi.

Although Sasuke becomes content with a life of happiness in Konohagakure, he never allows his dreams of power to leave his thoughts. During his Part I battles with characters such as Haku and Gaara, Sasuke tests his abilities against those of progressively stronger ninja, in the process discovering the weakpoints he needs to overcome. While initially complacent with his development, Naruto quickly starts to grow stronger at a faster greater rate. This, coupled with his quick defeat by Itachi during a brief return to Konoha, leads Sasuke to believe that his growth is slowing. In an attempt to reassess his strength, he begins to treat his friends as opponents so as to test his abilities against their own.

Dissatisfied with his progress in Konoha and believing Orochimaru holds the keys to getting strong enough to kill Itachi, Sasuke defects from Konoha at the end of Part I. Naruto attempts to stop him but Sasuke, believing the death of Naruto, his closest friend, will give him the desired power, tries to kill him instead. He is ultimately unable to follow through with this idea, realizing that is what Itachi would want, and instead continues on to Orochimaru. In the two-and-a-half years he spends with Orochimaru, Sasuke's goal to kill Itachi takes precedence above all else; he is willing to give his body to Orochimaru if it means killing Itachi, and later turns against Orochimaru after reaching the conclusion that he can learn nothing else of value. After achieving his goal of bringing about Itachi's death, Sasuke learns of his brother's good intentions and what he seems to perceive as Konoha betraying the Uchiha, and abandons all of his former hate for Itachi and resolves to restore the Uchiha and crush Konoha.
