Short History/Current Bio: In her earlier days at the Academy, Haruno Sakura was at the top of her class along with Uchiha Sasuke, her quick learning skills and ability to remember a large quantity made it apparent that her battle skills would lack leaving her nearly useless to Team Seven. However after her team was destroyed by the rejection of the last Uchiha Heir, Sakura made it clear that she wanted to train under Tsunade.

Two years later and Sakura had almost surpassed her Shishou, Tsunade-sama. Her perfect Chakra control made her super strength that much easier to control as time went by. She also picked up Medical Skills and of course also made up in rank while her team was seperated.

After another Two years, [set to the story within the rules] Haruno Sakura had nearly cut ties with Konoha aside from the occasional mission after meeting, training and falling in love under her latest Superior. Although Sakura never married the Bio Organic Weapon Raphael Valois, she took on his last name and still wears the ring under her left glove hoping he'd return one day so she could once again fight along side him. For now, Sakura's current role is within the Konoha Hospital walls, where she is Head Medic along side Shizune and Tsunade.

Short History/Current Bio:The History of the Songu clan is known by only few people, the elders of Kirigakure and the members of the Songu clan themselves. The Songu clan has been living the Kirigakure since the clans start. They are noted to be more bloodthirsty then the Kaguya clan was before they were wiped out. During the early formation of the five great nations the Songu clan severed as the assassins for hire to Kirigakure. Even though the Songu clan was nothing but assassins a large group of members were highly civilized and knew the difference between senseless violence and fighting for a reason. A few of the members were the elders of Kirigakure which means they were on the council that served the Mizukage. Even though they were on the council no member of the Songu clan was ever elected Mizukage although they were overqualified for the position. The reason for this is that the non Songu members on the council continued to tell the Mizukage at the time that if a Songu clan member were to become Mizukage assassins would rule Kirigakure. With that thought in his mind the current Mizukage made it a rule that no member of the Songu were never to become Mizukage. This was one of the very first rules in any of the Five great Nations. With the passing of the rule there was revolt that was one of the reasons that the great ninja war was started. With the help of Konohagakure the Songu clan was quickly destroyed. The members of the group that were left including two of the five elders that was on the council fled and went into hiding. They found land just outside of Kirigakure and started to build there own small village. Although it was never recognized as a main village or anything close to it the Songu clan lived there for many centuries to come. Even though the hate of the five great nations was still alive in the Songu clan no member ever spoke of it. Years later in the middle of the Great War a small family of the Songu clan started to plan against the Mizukage. One of the Songu clan's oldest members had heard about the group called Seven Shinobi of the Mist. When the Songu clan asked for the help of the Seven Shinobi they turned them down as they announced that they were splitting up. With that the man created his own branch of the Seven Shinobi of the mist and took the strongest members of those betrayed by the second Mizukage and formed it. When the new Seven Shinobi of the Mist attacked the Mizukage and the council members they were quickly defeated and some were killed. All were killed except for Seven members. One member was of the family that started to group so he was made leader. He was also the strongest in the group do to the fact that the Songu already had signature jutsu's that they perfected. From then on the group was named Seven Shinobi Swordsmen of the Mist. While the group was forming Konoha ninja had fond the hidden village of the Songu clan and annihilated. Upon hearing of this the leader of the Swordsmen of the mist attacked the Mizukage again and succeeded to kill the council members. After the council members were killed they went after the Mizukage and were only able to injure him due to the fact that he had upgraded security because of the Great War. After again failing many members of the Swordsmen of the mist left the group. The rest of the members of the group went into hiding including the leader who was indeed the last member of his clan.

Advantages: Specializes in immobilization by use of Shadow Techniques, Intellect.

Disadvantages: Due to his expertise in Shadow techniques, he needs an apt amout of shadows to increase the range of most of his techniques. Long Range Opponents.

Short History: Starting off as a "Below" average student in the Academy, most people really had no clue what was hidden underneath. Sure he rarely did his work but when it all came down to it and he had finished whining about having to perform a Henge the young child could perfectly perform it. After barely graduating because of his low scores he was placed in Team Ten alongside Yamanaka Ino, Akimichi Chouji and their Jounin Sensei Sarutobi Asuma. His carefree and easygoing attitude did not fool the Jounin one bit, giving him a I.Q test designed to look like a game. The findings were astonishing. The boy had an I.Q of over Two Hundred. "Apparently lifting a pencil was too much work for him." Asuma had stated. This finding proved to be completely accurate when he defeated Tsuchi Kin in the first part of the Chuunin Exams. The second part however, due to his opponent having a good mind as well, took longer to outthink. But with his Chakra running low, he raised his hand and threw in the towel.

A few years later, this young man watched as the man he looked up to. The one whom he completely respected was killed. Instead of being blinded by pride and anger, he fought the Akatsuki freak. Dooming him to a life of headlessness and life in a hole. The revenge he wanted had been exacted.

With the years passing, his Team pushed him to become a Jounin. Something he considered "Troublesome" because it just made you more vulnerable for higher ranking missions. But with the Godaime being as she was and the Village slipping slowly into chaos he believed it was his duty to make sure this place would survive. Even moreso when the Deer his family had been raising for years began to die off, leaving them with less and less each year. Soon though his father Shikaku became increasingly ill, leaving the Nara to take on full responsibility of raising the deer. Not to mention being assigned to Team Four as their Jounin Sensei.

Short History:

Aburame Shino had always been reffered to as "that weird kid at the far end of the third row" by his classmates. Being of the Aburame clan had caused many to view Shino as an oddity and preffered to stay away from him, causing Shino to grow up without any true friends outside his clan. The first friends he would make were his teammates Inuzuka Kiba and Hinata Hyuuga, who under the guide of Kurenai Yuhi formed team 8 of the rookie Genin. Shino's leadership skills were quickly noticed by his Sensei and acknowledged by his fellow teammates who always followed his orders without fail.

At the day of Uzumaki Naruto departures Shino comments that he will train hard as well in order to grow stronger along with all the other rookie Genin until the boy's return. Shino was one of the many who became Chuunin during Naruto's absence and his confidence and intelligence had grown along with his length. Shino had also become more skilled at using his Kikaichu, having gained the ability to control larger swams of them and also the ability to camoflouge them according to his surroundings. After his encounter with the Akatsuki member Tobi along with his teammates and team 7 Shino continued to train in order to be ready should they encounter the Akatsuki once again.

Years later Kurenai Yuhi had given birth to Asuma's child and resigned as the leader of Team 8. With the support of his teammates Shino had been given the position of team Eight Jounin. He takes great pride in his team and their near flawless performances during missions. Shino had also been assigned the position of Head of interrogation for Konohagakure. Due to his somewhat dark nature and drive to finish any assignments given to him without fail he has proven to be the best choice for the job.

Advantages: Very great sense of smell, leadership quality, loyalty, close range fighting.

Disadvantages: Short-tempered, obnoxious, still has some of his teenage ways, far range fighting.

Short History:

Inuzuka Kiba was originally a member of Team 8 (Team Kuranai) as a Genin and Chuunin. He proved his loyalty to his comrades, Hyuuga Hinata and Abrame Shino, and believed them to be like family. His obnoxious self always thought that he was the leader of the team, constantly fighting with Shino or saying that the team should do something more action-y than lying low like Shino wanted to most of the time.

After the Chuunin exams, Kiba grew up a little, after Uzumaki Naruto showed him that he was wrong about the little guy. Kiba joined in as a recruit to get Sasuke from the Sounds Four, even though he almost managed to get killed by Sakon and Ukon.

When Naruto returns from training with Jiraiya, Kiba is seen as older and a bit more mature, yet this is all thrown down the drain when he picks on Hinata about her crush on Naruto. Now that he’s twenty, Kiba still has those annoying little qualities with him, but has managed to mature enough to a degree of knowing when it is the time to joke around and when it is not. After taking a beating on an A ranked mission, Kiba had realized that he needed to make the maturity level rise. This helped him become a Jounin, and later, the head of a new branch he had created with his sister. Not only does he still go on missions with the old Team 8, but now he and a group of specialty ninjas set out in search of missing people, or missing important items.

Rank: No official rank but she is presumably at Jounin level.

Weapons: Normal tools, Occasionally a katana.

Advantages: Quick wit, anything Suiton(Water Based),Excellent knowledge of weaponry, lithe, fairly good chakra control.

Disadvantages: Lightning jutsus, fear of Genjutsu, lack of comrades, and not knowing when to give up.

Short History: Ever since her life changing childhood incident Umiko has held a solid vendetta against Otogakure, striving to destroy it completely. To this day she still holds it, her wrath only growing from her failure at a coup against Otogakure a few years back that resulted in her confinement in one of Orochimaru's prison's. She had been liberated two years later by team Hebi, now known as team Hawk, when they had dismantled her facility in search of Juugo.

Nowadays she still wanders the Earth, training herself so that she may not make the same mistake again. She searches for a way to master her ever vague kekkai genkai, knowledge of which is rare for the majority of her clan is hidden from the public eye and secluded from outside life. Records that she had found tell little of her mother's side, Kagashi, and her father's life in Kumogakure is murky due to his ANBU status that granted him anonymity.

She's fighting a war within her own mind, paranoid of ever letting someone near her for they only want to hurt her in the end or try to interact and leave her lonesome life behind. Old habits die hard though, and this is certainly no exception.

Name: Yamanaka Ino
Current Age: 20
Alliance: Konohagakure
Rank: Jounin/Medic-nin
Occupation: Special Tatics ANBU.

Weapons: Standard kunai, shuriken, basic scrolls, senbon and Kekkei Genkei.

Advantages: Flexible, able to control the opponents body and mind, if their caught in her jutsu. Due to years of growing up within the Yamanaka Clan Shop, she understands foreign land terrain when it comes to nature. Knows which herbs to use and what places to avoid while traveling. Has basic medic-nin experience under her, from training with Tsunade for a short amount of time. Can channel her chakra to a certain area and release it all at once, creating great exerts of strength.

Disadvantages: While her Kekkei Genkei can be considered dangerous, many drawbacks are included. While trying to completely take control with Shintenshin no Jutsu, if her aim misses, it leaves her vulnerable as her mind, will not return to it's own body for a few minutes. Also, if that physical entity experiences any damage, she will receive it as well. As well as, performing too many jutsu's during the midst of battle, as all of her techniques require more chakra than usual ones, considering she created them.

Short History/Current Bio: Growing up within Konoha, her years at the Academy were spent chasing after Uchiha Sasuke and attempting to win any rivalry she had with Haruno Sakura. Being placed into a squad whose father's were also in a Genin Team together, she automatically took charge of her two teammates. Often mistaken for being bossy, selfish and uncaring of others, Ino acts out as a typical teenager, though it's eventually seen by her peers that indeed she isn't.

Despite the fact, she only became a kunoichi to get closer to Sasuke, during the Chuunin Exam's, she stepped it up a notch. Including teamwork with Shikamaru and Chouji, using their own version of the Ino-Shika-Chou, they prevented the Sound-nin from inflicting further harm upon Team 7 and Lee, who'd been in the battle; atleast until help arrived in the form of the Cursed Seal Uchiha. During the months and years between Sasuke's leaving and Akatsuki movement, her own personality has flourished.

Having felt useless, when sent as back-up to Temari with Shikamaru, unable to properly battle the opponent, she asked Sakura to approach Tsunade and ask if she'd take her in as a second apprentice. After the Godaime had agreed, she trained and returned to Team 10. However, with the passing of her sensei, Asuma, she had been petrified of losing anyone else. Her family extending the clan, half of it going to Suna to lend assistance to them, she stayed behind in Konohagakure and continued working as a Leaf-nin.

Temporarily leading the Clan, with Inoichi and his wife in Sunagakure, she's shown excellent control of her Kekkei Genkei and due to a recent mission success, has been offered a spot working along the ANBU Agents. Continuing to remain a Jounin, she works as a spy for the Hokage's Administration Office and is often given assignments, to spy on enemy countries. Her work only increasing with the economy declining.

Alias: Sai
Age: 20
Alliance: Konohagakure no sato/ROOT
Weapon: Katana, Senbon, Shuriken, Kunai, Steel Twine, Ink Brush(s).
Advantages: Sai's skills are unique. He uses his own special brand of ninjutsu to make his artwork come to life, this skill would have been useless if he wasn't an exceptional artist and quick thinker. Sai's crude drawings are decent in the eyes of average artists, with several flicks of his wrists, he can draw and bring to life whatever he wishes. It is corporeal and the ink creation can be used in other ink-based jutsu to surprise opponents. Sai is completely emotionless, not a single incident can cause him to become affected in anyway. His mind is always clear and calm, provocation does not seem to have any affect against him and he usually turns it around on the instigator. His levelheadedness and calm demeanor in battle give him an edge in pinch situations in which a regular shinobi would be affected by things such as dread, fear, nausea, pain.

Drawbacks: Though he is an ideal shinobi to send in stealth missions, Sai lacks techniques with significant power. Though he usually avoids conflicts such as this, it has been shown that in a power struggle, he resorts to intricate plans to win or survive the incident. As a result, he has always lacked the power to defeat an enemy head on, thus relying on sheer skill and speed to outwit his opponents.

Biography: In a small area with many nations within 100 miles of each other, war is the main weapon used to settle conflicts. As shinobi tactics evolved, stealth missions and assassination became the side weapon that was used to prevent war. As a precursor to war, assassination would increase and blood would be shed in order to stop war. In a world such as this, sinister child rearing methods came about. Throughout his entire life, he was versed in the way of the shinobi, taught that camaraderie was for weak masochist, that it would lead to a most painful and humiliating death. Soon the reasons for it did not matter, by the age of 10 there was nothing left but a soulless killing machine. Danzo, the man who beat this philosophy into him, began to prepare for a coupe d'etat against Konohagakure. He could only continue to complete the missions he was assigned. Capture, Interrogate, Kill, Dispose, Repeat. The ROOTS division was notorious for its secrecy, so much that only the two counil members of the Fire country were the only ones truly involved in their actions.

Sai. That was his code name, he was not allowed to answer to anything else but that name. He would infiltrate the structural system of Konoha in order to eliminate Uchiha Sasuke, before returning to Konoha to aid Danzo. The plan failed as the once obedient shinobi betrayed the direct orders from his superior, stopping the plan in its tracks. After this event, Sai slowly entered the society known as Konoha. He remained a member of the team under orders from the Hokage, though he had less than desirable teammates. His loyalty now lay with Tsunade, and as he had been trained to do, he would follow her every instruction even if it lead to his death. He spent every single waking moment reading books that would teach him to socialize with the people around him. He became obsessed with creating bonds with the people he regularly came in contact with but his actions soon proved futile.


As they ears passed, Sai became more and more pessimistic. His only major goal now was to become proficient in the use of ninjutsu and genjutsu. He would occasionally travel with his old team when Tsunade called for him herself, but mostly spent his time perfecting his artwork. This was the first step to becoming a better shinobi, his personality didn't change at all though he kept saying awkward things to the people he met out on his missions alone, he kept up his expressionlessness as well as his disdain for Naruto. Years would pass until his ink jutsu became powerful enough for him to become noticed by Tsunade, his rapid growth and dedication caused him to be transferred from his Elite Jounin position to that of an ANBU Commander, someone who lead two or more squadrons. By the age of 20, Sai reinstated the ROOTS program with several, large and important changes.

Name: Raxas Arakaki

Advantages: Small, very quick, controls sound, can shapeshift into anything.

Disadvantages: Over emotional at times, quite timid, daydreams a lot, feral, when healing powers are used more than half her energy is drained.

Short History/Current Bio: Years had passed since her village was destroyed. Raxas had distanced herself from civilization and lived on her own, teaching herself new attack methods and unlocking new techniques and powers she could use in combat and for defense. Raxas completely brought herself up her own way, and kept whatever happened between her and the past concealed from the public and trying her hardest to not think back to the dreadful day. She never had a real home after the incident, Raxas would never stay in one place for long... always wandering endlessly. The kunoichi was more timid than most shinobi's always shying away from any human affection and any human contact, so most people kept their distance. In a sense, she was feral. But one day she was founded by Orochimaru and he talked her into coming back with him to where he was staying with Kabuto and the rest of the sound shinobi's in Otogakure. Kabuto agreed to take Raxas as his subordinate since she had healing powers, which weren't very strong at the time. As time progressed, she opened up more and began to get over her timid behavior, but she was still quite shy to most.

Raxas had stayed committed to Kabuto for a few years learning many new techniques and her fighting skills would increase as she got stronger, both mentally and physically. Raxas heard many of the residents talking about what else lurked out in the world and she started getting the urge to wander away and explore; and she did just that, no longer wanting their help or to be a Guinea pig of theirs. After breaking her promise to stay loyal to Kabuto and Otogakure, she had set out on a new journey to find a new life and to start over. Raxas now resides happily in Konohagakure, surrounded by many allies and her lover, Hatake Kakashi, and doesn't plan on going anywhere.

Name: Shiranui Genma
Current Age: Thirty-seven.
Alliance: Konohagakure
Rank: Special Jounin.
Occupation: Chuunin Exam Proctor.

Weapons: Senbon, Kunai knives, Shuriken.

Advantages: Quick on his feet. Great fire jutsu, and his one-of-a-kind cat summoning justu. Good far range fighting.

Disadvantages: Short-tempered. Cocky. Lonely.

Short History/Current Bio: Genma was first introduced during the Chuunin Exams, and was only shown on one extra mission after that. During his time unnoticed, he usually trained or proctored the Chuunin Exams.

Genma is a lonely man, and tends to keep his time away from people. He’s pretty quiet, despite his rather cocky disposition. In his time of loneliness, he developed a loving for cats, and has managed to use them for a summoning. During the time-skip and after, he manages to master his justu, with the help of his friend Raido. And over the years, he developed a secret crush on the Godaime’s assistant, Shizune, not that anyone knows such. Genma, since he’s getting older through the years, has changed his outfit a bit. The bandana is still worn backward, and the Chuunin/Jounin vest is still on, but he tends to wear a short sleeve shirt and baggy pants instead of usual the turtle-neck and heavy pants. And no one can forget the trademark senbon that he keeps in his mouth.

Name: Hatake Kakashi.
Current Age: 33.
Alliance: Konohagakure.
Rank: Jounin.
Occupation: Shinobi.

Weapons: Kunai, Shuriken, Techniques copied by Sharingan.

Advantages: Above average senses. Over one thousand techniques in his arsenal. Great tactician. The Sharingan, and the Mangekyou Sharingan.

Disadvantages: Sometimes spaces out. Low stamina when using the Sharingan, even lower when using the Mangekyou Sharingan. Usually requires extended bedrest after long fights.

Short History/Current Bio: During Kakashi's childhood, his father, Hatake Sakumo, abandoned a mission crucial to Konoha in order to save the lives of his teammates. Disgraced by the villagers and those he had saved because of the repercussions the village suffered, Kakashi's father committed suicide.
Wishing to avoid his father's dishonor, Kakashi adopted the philosophy that the success of a mission must always come first, becoming humorless and by-the-book in the process.

In later years Kakashi was assigned by his sensei, Namikaze Minato, to lead a mission that would turn the war going on at the time in Konoha's favor.
When his teammate, Rin, was captured by enemy shinobi, Kakashi elected to leave her behind and finish the mission. His other teammate, Uchiha Obito, rejected this alternative, stating that those who abandon their friends are worse than trash and that Kakashi's father had done the right thing by saving his teammates. Touched by Obito's words, Kakashi joined him in a rescue effort, though his left eye became damaged in the ensuing battle.

After finding Rin and preparing to escape, an enemy induced cave-in crushed Obito's body. With the cave continuing to collapse around them, Obito urged his teammates to save themselves. Before leaving, Obito had Rin transplant his undamaged Sharingan eye into Kakashi's damaged eye socket as a gift for becoming a Jounin. With his new eye in place, Kakashi fled with Rin as the cave collapsed, eventually completing their mission and forever mourning Obito's death. Obito's death greatly changed Kakashi, as he adopted many of Obito's traits and philosophies. Such as the importance of teamwork, and the fact that he is frequently late for appointments and meetings. These qualities continue to the present day.

Name: Hoshigaki Kisame

Advantages: Extremely Fast, Incredible Strength.

Disadvantages: Lightning Based Attacks, Equality in Strength During Battle.

Short History/Current Bio: Kisame is a former member of Kirigakure's Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, an ever-changing group of ninja that wield particularly large weapons in battle. While in Kirigakure, Kisame is known to have formed a connection to Suigetsu Hozuki and his brother. His former country, the Land of Water, now seeks him out for plotting to overthrow its government and being involved in numerous assassinations. Kisame would later join Akatsuki and be partnered with Uchiha Itachi.

Kisame is said to be the strongest of the Mist Swordsmen. Kisame is so strong that Gai needed to open his Sixth chakra gate to beat a clone with only 30% of Kisame's power. Kisame himself proved powerful enough to successfully capture the Four-tailed Jinchuriki after beating him half to death. He has also been known to display astonishing speed and incredible physical strength. He uses water-based jutsu in combination with his powerful physical attacks. His shark-like qualities carry over to the type of techniques he uses in battle, as he often shapes bodies of water into the forms of sharks that proceed to attack opponents.

He is noted to have a particularly large amounts of chakra in his reserves (Karin states she has never seen so much chakra in one place), though it is unknown how much he can use; even when he fights at 30% power in one instance his chakra supply is compared to that of a Nine-Tailed Demon Fox-enhanced Naruto Uzumaki during the Chunin Exams.

History//Current Biography: Hyuuga Neji is hailed as the genius of the Hyuuga clan, and was the top graduate of his class. This young ninja is from the Hyuuga branch family; however he has obtained many of the skills only taught to the main family line. Neji grew up with hatred for the main family of the Hyuuga house. His resentment stemmed from his past, causing him to have a strong destiny complex. Neji became a ninja, and was teamed with TenTen and Rock Lee along with their Jounin sensei Maito Gai. Neji also bears a curse sealing mark, which all branch family members of the Hyuuga house have. This mark allows the Hyuuga main house to control the branch family, when activated the seal causes pain and kills the bearer of the mark by destroying their brain. At the same time, the Byakugan bloodline is also removed from their bodies, which helps keep the family’s bloodline secrets safe. Neji’s father, Hizashi, was a twin brother to the heir of the main house, Hiashi. However, the clan stated that since Hizashi was born later than his older brother, he would be placed in the branch family. He and those in the branch family would serve only to protect the main family. At the same time, Kumo and Konoha were also at the end of a long war. The two sides were ready to sign a peace treaty between them. However, on the night of the peace treaty, Kumo’s best ninja tried to kidnap Hyuuga Hinata, but was caught and killed by her father Hiashi. The implications of his death would have started another war, unless Kumo was given the body of the one who killed their ninja. The attempted kidnapping of Hinata was overlooked in all of this as the Kumo demanded recompense. Only the body of Hiashi would decided pacify them. The elders of the Hyuuga clan did not want to give up the head of the house. It was decided that his twin brother, Hizashi, was to be killed instead.


Due to this event, Neji became cynical and began to resent the Hyuuga clan’s system, and that the branch house would always be sacrificing their lives for the main house. This outlook would later be changed after Neji received word of the truth from his uncle. However, before discovering the true events and the whole story of his father’s death, Neji’s anger had followed him as he grew in life. Neji eventually entered the Ninja Academy and graduated at age 12. He was then placed on a team with Lee and TenTen under Maito Gai. Over the following year they would take on several missions and Gai would offer his Taijutsu secrets to his students. Only Lee took him up on his offer though. A year after graduating Gai entered his team into the Chuunin Exam. By this point the three Genin worked well together and were eager to prove their skills against the rest of the competition. Naruto and Neji were then chosen to face off in the final round of the Chuunin exams. In this battle, Neji would use a wide array of Hyuuga main house techniques, surprising his uncle Hiashi. Neji and Naruto would engage in an intense battle, and the two would verbally spar about Neji’s past, Neji seemed victorious in his fight with Naruto, however Naruto had Neji fooled by using Kage Bunshin. While the real Naruto hid underground the real Naruto surfaced and put the finishing blow on Neji, allowing Naruto to win the fight .After the Chuunin exams, Hiashi would help shed some light about the death of Neji’s father. After watching Neji’s performance against Naruto, he was convinced that Neji was ready to hear the real story.


After this, Neji’s attitude and hatred for the main house lessened. Neji would join Naruto, Kiba, Chouji and Shikamaru in their mission to retrieve Sasuke from Sound. Neji would square off against Sound Four ninja Kidoumaru. Neji was put at a great disadvantage as Kidoumaru rained in attack after attack from a great distance. Kidoumaru was even able to find the Byakugan’s blind spot, an area just above the upper back. Neji pushed himself to live up to the ideal of what other ninja saw the Hyuuga as, the best of the best, and the greatest clan in Konoha. Neji seemed to be in a precarious predicament, but after realizing that he still had hope and disregarding destiny altogether, he mustered up his strength and was able to defeat Kidoumaru by sacrificing his body to finally take out his opponent. After receiving attack upon attack, Neji was nearly killed, and would have died if not for the aid of medical ninja who arrived shortly later. Over the following years Neji would continue to develop his skills. He and his teammates would eventually pass the Chuunin Exam. Neji himself would also be promoted to Jounin.


Neji became more streamlined with the Hyuuga look during this period; donning robes instead of his usual jacket. He would also appear to better accept the Hyuuga "destiny," and found inner peace. After later events such as The Akatsuki invading Konoha, and killing Asuma, the most recent Godaime Hokage getting sick, and most of everyone being promoted to Jounin, Neji once again was promoted above the rest of his comrads to Special Jounin. Neji now had the elite posistion of Night Patrole of the village, due to his byakugon being able to see a wide spread area the fifth had given him that special posistion knowing of how skilled he is, and how well he can use his byakugon.
